The 6th UAE International Conference on Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine which was held from 7th till 9th of December 2006 at Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai, proved to be a widely successful conference due to the fact that it hosted international and eminent speakers who are known for their educational and knowledgeable background and was attended by more than 650 delegates from all over the world and the Arab Countries, whose needs and objectives were met due to two major facts: - - First fact is that the scientific program was extensive and featured several topics on Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine which highlighted the important and relevant issues covering the different topics and subspecialties of anesthesia.
